Overview
Experienced Scrum Master with 5+ years of relevant experience, expert in Agile methodologies, coaching, and team facilitation. Leads Scrum ceremonies, ensures backlog quality in Jira, tracks capacity and performance metrics, supports Definition of Done delivery, removes impediments, and drives continuous improvement, collaboration, and self-organisation.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and facilitate the Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings
- Schedule and follow the key steps of the methodology
- Guarantee a smooth use of the Scrum methodology and help the Project Team face any obstacles
- Provide assistance or support to the Scrum Team concerning the Product Backlog
- Assist and support the team in the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
- Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes
- Ensure consistency of backlog in Jira
- Help the Project Team face any difficulties and promote its gradual self-organisation
- Remove barriers to team effectiveness and protect the team from outside distractions
- Risk and issue management
Must Have Skills
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques.
- Agile mindset and coaching experience.
- Knowledge of Agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g., Jira).
- Understanding of tools for automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration.
- Sound knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Banking experience.
- Fluency in English and French.
