Overview
Senior Test Lead – Change Management in Euroclear’s EB (ESES/Euroclear Bank) Settlement domain within GBS plays a strategic role in driving quality engineering transformation across settlement platforms. This role operates at the intersection of Agile delivery teams, business stakeholders, Technology & DevOps teams, and enterprise governance. The focus is on enabling enterprise-wide adoption of modern QA practices (BDD, automation-first, continuous testing) while ensuring structured change management and cultural transformation in a regulated financial environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a hands-on Change Leader driving adoption of: Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Automation-first testing strategies, Shift-left and shift-right practices
- Define and execute a change adoption strategy across multiple squads
- Identify resistance and proactively mitigate adoption barriers
- Drive transition from traditional QA to quality engineering mindset
- Establish KPIs (BDD coverage, automation %, cycle time improvements)
- Lead design and scale-up of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- Ensure alignment between business, development, and QA via shared specifications
- Promote Three Amigos, example mapping, and collaborative refinement
- Embed BDD into CI/CD pipelines and delivery lifecycle
- Define and implement enterprise automation strategy
- Drive adoption of: API-first testing, Test pyramid model, Continuous testing practices
- Standardise tools (Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, etc.)
- Ensure scalable, reusable automation frameworks
Must Have Skills
- Quality Engineering & Testing
- Strong expertise in BDD, automation frameworks, and test architecture
- Microsoft Test Management, Test Management
- Work across multiple Agile teams to: Align testing approaches, Standardise quality gates, Ensure consistent delivery quality
- Act as a bridge between QA, DevOps, and product teams
- Establish Communities of Practice (CoP) for quality engineering
- Engage senior stakeholders, program managers, and architecture teams
- Provide executive-level reporting on transformation progress
- Define governance models for: Test strategy, Change rollout, Regulatory compliance
- Define and track metrics: Automation coverage, Defect leakage, Cycle time & deployment frequency
- Build dashboards (Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI)
- Use data to drive continuous improvement and decision-making
- Ensure testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, ADO)
- Promote: Test-as-code & Infrastructure awareness
- Align testing strategy with DevOps maturity models
