Overview

Experienced Scrum Master with 5+ years supporting Agile teams in enterprise environments. Facilitates Scrum ceremonies, coaches teams, removes impediments, and supports Product Owners to deliver value. Tracks progress, capacity, and risks, ensures end-to-end delivery, and promotes Agile best practices. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective) and ensure proper application of Scrum practices.
  • Support the Product Owner with backlog management and help the team deliver the Definition of Done.
  • Coach and guide the team, remove impediments, and promote self-organisation and continuous improvement.
  • Track delivery progress, team capacity, and velocity, and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Act as end-to-end delivery owner, ensuring timely and well-prepared feature delivery.
  • Coordinate delivery follow-up (e.g., Scrum of Scrums) and manage risks and issues.
  • Act as an ambassador of Agile methodology within the organisation.

Must Have Skills

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g., Rally).
  • Understanding of tooling on automated unit testing, automated functional testing and continuous integration tooling.
  • Sound knowledge of software development methodology.
  • Sound knowledge of project management methodology.
  • Expert knowledge of Agile methodology and techniques. 
  • Ability to mentor and empower others.
  • Ability to foster trust and open feedback within the team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of English, as well as at least one local language: Dutch or French.
