Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to drive the company’s product vision and ensure its successful delivery. In this role, you will shape and communicate the product’s big picture, define the roadmap, and translate business needs into clear functional specifications for the development team. As the key decision maker, you will manage and prioritize the Product Backlog, plan iterations, and actively contribute to Agile ceremonies to guarantee alignment, consistency, and quality throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, solid expertise in Agile methodologies, and a proven track record in budget management, project management, and stakeholder management. You bring both technical and functional knowledge, combined with strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build the product’s big picture, including its roadmap, and translate this vision to the development team.
  • Clarify the needs and draft the product’s key functional specifications according to agile methodology.
  • Plan iterations and define priorities to ensure proper content delivery.
  • Define priorities and monitor the Product Backlog, continuously aligning it with key business needs.
  • Ensure that different stakeholders remain aligned on the product to be delivered.
  • Initiate a priority management approach, ensuring product consistency and quality.
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (agile retrospectives, demos, test labs, etc.).
  • Act as the decision maker or hold the authority to arbitrate delivered functionalities.
  • Conduct live adjustments and follow-up on the Sprint Backlog.

Must Have Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical and functional expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in Budget management, Project management, and Stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of the Fraud domain is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in English as well as at least one local language (French or Dutch).
