Overview
Solution Architect with 7+ years in IT security and deep Azure expertise, designing secure cloud architectures and DevSecOps solutions. Leads IAM, incident response, SIEM/SOC operations, and compliance (ISO, GDPR, NIS2). Skilled in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, Terraform, CI/CD, and security tools, partnering with IT and DevOps as an Azure security SME.
Job Responsibilities
- Co-develop secure cloud architectures and design patterns for Azure environments.
- Create and maintain security protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Integrate security into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices.
- Enable cloud incident response and telemetry using centralized intra-cloud and cross-cloud push and pull logging designs.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
- Monitor system activities, logs, and alerts using SIEM tools via SOC.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents.
- Design and implement IAM solutions, including Azure AD, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Conditional Access.
- Manage authentication mechanisms and data access controls.
- Ensure compliance of the Azure landscape with standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIS2.
- Facilitate and perform regular audits and assessments to maintain regulatory alignment.
- Work closely with IT, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams.
- Provide guidance and training on cloud security best practices.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Azure security.
Must Have Skills
- At least 7 years of experience in IT security, including 3–5 years in cloud security architecture.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including services such as Entra ID, Azure Security Center, Key Vault, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Experience with security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAFs, SIEM, and SOAR platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing models, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluent in English.
